Coach Hollis is the Co-Coordinator for EAD Alabama. She played for Locust Fork High School in Alabama where she scored over 2,250 points in her high school career. Coach Hollis then attended the University of Montevallo. While playing at UM, she was a four year starter and received the following awards; 1998-1999 Highest Free Throw Percentage (ranking third overall in the Gulf South Conference), 1999-2000 The Hustle Award, 2000-2001 Team MVP, 2001-2002 Coach’s Award. In the summer of 2002, she was named JV Middle School Basketball Coach at 3A, Ashville High School. From there she moved to Thompson High School, 7A school in Birmingham, AL where she served as JV softball and basketball coach. Her first varsity basketball position was offered in 2004 at 7A, Hewitt Trussville High School. From 2006-2007, Coach Hollis was named Girls Basketball Northeast Regional Coach of the Year. After moving to South Alabama in 2012, she coached for four more years on a high school level including time as the head volleyball coach and female Athletic Director at Baldwin County High School. She ended her high school coaching career as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Baker High School. Coach Hollis served as Athletic Director for five years at Denton Magnet School of Technology. She currently teaches and coaches track for Denton Magnet School in Mobile, AL.
