Lauren Walker

Coach Walker is the Head Coordinator for EAD Alabama, located in the Mobile and Baldwin County area. Coach Walker played shooting guard for the women’s basketball program at the University of South Alabama from 2008-2012 under Rich Pietri. She has 12 years of coaching experience in youth, middle school, high school, and AAU level for both boys and girls. Coach Walker retired from coaching high school varsity girls basketball for 7A Baker High School after accepting the EAD Head Coordinator position. Within her 5 years of coaching at Baker High School, she won Area Championship, Sweet 16, and an Elite 8 appearance. Only the second girls team in Baker High School history to make an Elite 8 appearance and only the 4th girls’ team to ever win an Area Championship. Vision, drive and purpose is what defines good from the great!
